A Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) measures the magnitude and phase characteristics of networks, amplifiers, components, cables, and antennas. A VNA also compares the incident signal leaving the analyzer with either the signal that is transmitted through the test device or the signal rejected from its input. With scalar transmission option, scalar measurements can be made between 1-port ShockLine™ MS46121A VNAs in either one-to-one or one-to-many configuration, offering solution for testing cable and filter transmission properties in manufacturing and education environments. In one-to-one setup, up to 2 scalar transmission measurements can be made in parallel using 4 channels. One-to-many configuration allows one MS46121A to serve as source that is connected to up to 3 VNAs that act as receivers.
