From the moment that man first walked on the moon, the space industry has led the way. Softwarebased space systems have enabled great thing. On a global scale, for example positioning and using satellite systems to accurately monitor the planets health. Monitoring carbon emissions and ensuring that accurate weather forecasting becomes the norm. Relaying information to remote regions of the globe to educate the masses or assist with relief aid in disaster areas. On a local scale, helping people to precisely navigate their way around a city, or around the world. We work with Space Agencies, Military, and Commercial Clients to develop spaceage software solutions that make a real positive impact on the world. If you currently work in this sector or a closely related sector then we would like to hear from you. You will ideally have Demonstrable experience in a computing, engineering, space or defence technology role in a commercial project delivery or bidding environment. Ability or potential to lead teams in the implementation of IT projects. You must have experience in at least one of the following areas Space Sector Earth Observation, Satellite Navigation, Space Cyber Security, Satellite Communications, Software Development Highlevel programming preferably in an OO language or structured environment High assurance or safetyrelated applications Scientific or mathematical computing e.g. industrialisation of algorithms, mathematical modelling Requirements management process IT Project management Infrastr ucture Management Software Technical Architectures Involvement in the entire software design, development and deployment lifecycle You will ideally have a University degree or equivalent in a numerate subject, strong analytical skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should be able to work in an environment where requirements change often and quickly and have the ability to assimilate new information rapidly and derive suitable courses of action. We look for people who are flexible with a willingness to learn and develop in new areas.
