Data Access Expert for the Earth Observation satellite mission operations and maintenance

Adavanced Computer Systems ACS, a company of Exprivia group, is looking for a Data Access Expert for the Earth Observation satellite mission operations and maintenance. The selected person will be inserted in the Operations Engineering support team, and work in strict cooperation with the Operations Manager, ACS Project Manager and ACS Maintenance and Operations responsible, to carry out anomaly investigation and first line maintenance duties on the SW components developed and maintained by ACS. As part of his tasks, he will Monitor and maintain all ACS components deployed in various centers in a working state Monitor and maintain configuration changes to the components Control proper usage of the data access chain by the users, and raise associated anomaly if any Analyse system level anomalies allocated by the system manager, and cascade them to correct software level anomalies Manage technical and programmatic communications with the core procurement team providing the components Propose workaround for critical Software Problem Reports Maintain and monitor anomalies corrections delay and contents Validate new software versions, patches and workarounds Provide contribution to Operations Reports regarding the data access chain Participate to operations meetings, both internal and with the Customer Report to the System Manager, ACS Project Manager and ACS Maintenance and Operations manager The candidate shall have working experience in complex systems engineering and development, preferably in the field of Satellite Ground Systems engineering and operations, good knowledge of Linux operating system, and working knowledge of relational databases Postgres. A good knowledge of English language written and spoken is mandatory, as well as availability to work abroad for long periods at least six months, after a training period in ACS.

Vous viendrez renforcer une quipe existante assurant, pour le compte de notre donneur dordre, le support dingnierie dune mission europenne daide la recherche et au sauvetage. Sous la responsabilit dun Chef de projet, vous participerez quelquesunes des activits suivantes Suivi des volutions du segment sol et coordination des tests associs, Ralisation des tests techniques et support au dveloppement des outils dexpertise et de posttraitement, Prparation aux runions de travail, Support technique li aux performances du Service, Support aux responsables techniques sur la comprhension globale de larchitecture du Service, Support Expertise Transverse. Ingnieur de formation ou quivalent universitaire avec une spcialisation en radiofrquences, communication par satellite ou traitement du signal, vous bnficiez dau moins deux ans dexprience. Le contexte de travail est SAR Search And RescueGALILEO. De bonnes connaissances du domaine Spatial et de larchitecture de Systmes spatiaux stations sols, antennes, centre de missions sont demandes. Une exprience dans le contexte SAR est un plus. Au niveau technique, vous maitrisez Les techniques radiofrquences, Les techniques de localisation, La communication par satellite et le traitement du signal, Llaboration de bilan de liaison. Vous avez ainsi un attrait pour les activits pratique calibration, mtrologie Au niveau informatique, vous utilisez Matlab, CC et si possible Visual Basic, Scilab. La mission se droulant dans un contexte europen, vous savez communiquer en anglais, tant loral qu lcrit. Afin de renforcer notre quipe, nous recherchons un Ingnieur programmation mission satellite Observation de la Terre HF. Vous participez au dveloppement des activits de mission satellite dobservation de la Terre ou scientifique. La programmation mission est une tape essentielle qui permet de programmer le satellite pour quil remplisse sa mission initiale. In fine elle permet lutilisateur ou loprateur final de consulter des images prises par le satellite ou de rceptionner des donnes scientifiques qui seront traites puis exploites par des experts. Ingnieur de formation ou quivalent universitaire, vous bnficiez dune premire exprience dans le domaine spatial et en particulier de la mission. Vous avez de bonnes connaissances des segments sol spatiaux et composants logiciels mission, ainsi que des cycles de dveloppement conception, dveloppement, assemblage, intgration et validation. Vous maitrisez des technologies informatiques telles que Java, J2E, eclipse, eclipse RCP4 ou JBOSS. Une connaissance de la chaine de programmation mission serait un plus. RHEA is currently recruiting a MTG Satellite Simulator and Mission Operations Facility MOF Tools Engineer to support the MTG ground segment team at our clients premises in Darmstadt, Germany. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support to the maintenance of MTG Mission Operations Facility requirement specification in the area of MTG Mission Operations Facility tools and liaison with the operational users for the definition of the requirements baseline. Follow up the MTG Mission Operations Facility tools procurement to make sure that the delivery fits the intended purpose. Follow up the MTG Mission Operations Facility satellite simulator procurement to make sure that the delivery fits the intended purpose. Support the MTG ground segment team, the Mission Operations Facility manager, the ground segment manager and the SATSIM procurement manager. Interact with suppliers and partner organisations. Participation to the Reviews for the satellite simulator as well as the Mission Operations Facility tools and interfacing facilities. Participation test conduction and or witnessing to MTG satellite simulator as well as the Mission Operations Facility tools testing and related activities on facility as well as on system level. Analysis of test results and test reports on satellite simulator, Mission Operations Facility as well as on system level in particular with respect to their suitability for requirement verification and validation. Generation of test plans procedures for in house testing. Track the Mission Operations Facility tools test results, test reports and requirement verification status. Cloning and installation of the MTG satellite simulator as well as the Mission Operations Facility tools at EUMETSAT, while fulfilling the configuration management requirements. Verification of correct satellite simulator as well as Mission Operations Facility installation. Monitor and, where applicable, steer the lifecycle for all related anomaly reports ARs nonconformance reports NCRs. Develop, including design, documentation, coding and testing of dedicated Mission Operations Facility tools not externally procured based on input requirement documentation. This task includes the involvement interaction with the final users, participation to relevant reviews and answering of RIDs generated. Operation of the MTG satellite simulator during Mission Operations Facility test campaigns. Provision of support to other users of the MTG satellite simulator Mission Operations Facility tools. Preparation and production of routine reports as necessary. Preparation of technical notes and attendance at technical meetings. Analysis, review and generation of any relevant MTG documentation. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Demonstrated experience of 5 years in the following Mission Operations System specifications development and or procurement within a space system. Spacecraft simulator development, installation, testing and handson operation. In depth knowledge of SIMSAT. Software development in JAVA. Eclipse RCP RAP. GIT SVN Version Control software. AIV related activities test procedure generation, requirements verification and validation, test report generation. Anomaly reports ARs nonconformance reports NCRs handling, investigation and discussion with clients as well as the supplier. SW development under UNIX Linux operating system. The following skills would be highly desirable ECSS Space Engineering Standards, in particular those related to Mission Control and SW engineering. Satellite TM TC Database design, implementation and testing. Satellite Ground Operations Preparation. Spacecraft routine operations. In depth knowledge of MICONYS SCOS 2000, FARC, PARC, etc. based Monitoring and Control Subsystems. IBM DOORS. Configuration Control software e.g. Dimensions.
