The Position We are looking for a FT generation e distribution system professional with working experience. If you have experience and familiarity with design, corrective maintenance and operations activities related to ground segment FT related systems, we are searching for you! The daily activities requested, will be supporting the European Space Agency ESA with highly qualified services at the European Operations Control Centre ESOC in Darmstadt. In particular, the selected candidates will run a service at ESOC where they will provide your expertise the field of FT generation and distribution systems for all ESTRACK infrastructure As part of this role, in close and direct collaboration with the client, the selected candidate will Support to ground station developments, i.e. support to the definition of technical specifications and statement of works, participate to procurement tender evaluation boards in the role of expert, support to design reviews as well as support to factory and site acceptance tests. Support to technology development activities, i.e. support to the definition of requirements, support in preliminary prototype and bread boarding activities, support to the evaluation of achievements. Support to preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance. Engineering support to corrective maintenance tasks for problems requiring specific technical background in frequency and timing systems. Engineering support to ESTRACK for preventative maintenance tasks. Engineering support to operations Essential requirements The consultant will have proven experience in the following areas Design and procurement of frequency and timing systems.
