Genuine Parts Co., parent company of NAPA Auto Parts , increased its net earnings 9.7 percent to $190.5 million on record third-quarter sales of $3.99 billion, an 8.2 percent jump over the year-earlier period. E. & J. Gallo Winery , the Modesto-based wine-making giant, has donated $100,000 to Napa earthquake relief efforts, via the American Red Cross , the company said Friday. Gallo, founded in 1933 by Ernest and Julio Gallo , makes wines such as Gallo Family Vineyards, Barefoot Cellars, Frei Brothers Reserve and William Hill Estate, among many others.
