Mozilla is setting out to change that by building video conferencing directly into Firefox, and eliminating the need for accounts or dedicated clients.

Panasonic has announced that it has collaborated with Mozilla to create an interactive User Interface powered by Firefox OS, which will be available on Panasonic's Life+Screen Smart TVs. Panasonic's 2015 line includes the CX850, CX800, CX650, and CX600 series.
