Lufthansa sees boost from low fuel costs

Deutsche Lufthansa AG said Thursday that despite expected lower passenger yields, its operating results should get a boost this year from lower fuel costs and the German airline's cost-cutting program. As a result, Lufthansa said it now sees adjusted earnings before interest and taxes of over EUR1.5 billion in 2015, up from EUR1.2 billion in 2014.

Deutsche Post Sees Subdued Profit Growth on Weak Economy

Earnings before interest and taxes will rise to between 3.05 billion euros and 3.2 billion euros, the Bonn-based company said in a statement today. That compares with an average estimate for 3.24 billion euros collected from 22 analysts by Bloomberg.
