Volvo Cars said it will start selling vehicles online as it rolls out new models to compete with German luxury rivals such as BMW. The domestic passenger vehicle industry has managed to put a brake sliding sales after two months as a combination of factors including lower fuel price and uncertainty over extension of excise cuts next year resulted in improved sales in November. Car sales grew by 9.5% last month over the previous year, offsetting the 6.8% decline in the sale of multi-utility and sports utility vehicles.
