Our client is one of the top players in the European space technology industry offering solutions for complete satellites, scientific payloads and aerospace structures. The company is currently working on major European satellite development and manufacturing programs and is looking for support within the Electrical Systems department. Tasks and Responsibilities v Design, analysis and configuration of power systems for satellite applications using solar generators, batteries and control units v Support to the selection and supervision of subcontractors v Production and maintenance of documentation analyses, specifications, test procedures, reports and design descriptions v Oversee the interfaces with other satellite subsystems v Development of test concepts and provide suitable support during testing v Support to satellite projects from start to customer acceptance v Interface to customers and subcontractors. Skills and Education v A degree in engineering with a major in electrical engineering or comparable qualifications v Several years of professional experience in the space business are a plus v Knowledge in electrical power supply of satellites v Experience with hardware projects in phase BCD, preferably in the field of electrical power systems v Experience with CAE development tools v Excellent communication skills, flexibility and ability to work independently v Fluency in spoken and written English.

Furthermore, candidates should have following experience and skills Strong electrical power processing background, together with a good experience of digital and analogue electronics and control theory Experience in the domain of power conditioning electronics together, with hands on knowledge of the circuit design of such systems Experience in the development of computer models, especially with SPICEbased simulators Practical knowledge of the impacts of the space environment and interfaces with spacecraft subsystems, and experience with High Voltage power conditioning for space application would be an asset Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
