Position Reference 111 You will have the opportunity to work at the largest centre of European Space Agency, the European Space Research and Technology Centre ESTEC, to provide support to the organization of events and to handle administration related to communication. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support organising events such as conferences, workshops, presentation to internal and external stakeholders, etc. Support the organisation of internal communication activities and coordinate all TIAT related communication activities. Work in close coordination with TIA Communication Officer ensuring accurate and timely input. Support coordination of collecting articles to be publish onin social media. Dealing with incoming telephone calls and information requests. Support general administrative tasks i.a. analysing incoming correspondence and documentation and managing distribution of outgoing correspondence and documentation. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have a completed secondary education and professional training in administrative andor clerical support. You have a good command of English, especially written Level C1. You have interest and good understanding of ESA and TIA Programmes and related activities. You have a developed sense for initiatives. Sports Events MCR Operator United States Hawley, Pennsylvania Your Job Monitor, operate, and support all of companys Sports Events global and domestic content distribution services. Perform occasional use services uplink, downlink, conversion, turnarounds etc. for the companys customers. Your Responsibilities Configure, test and execute Occasional Use feeds via Satellite, Fiber, or OTT Maintain and operate high end technical equipment and troubleshoot and fix technical issues Quality check feeds and recorded material to ensure it meets SES specifications Customer support initial point of contact for all companys clients during events responding via email, phone, and monitoring systems Supervise the functioning of technical components and make sure that they are active and problem free Accountable for managing events and ensuring that they are resolved while maintaining a detailed record of the problems and methods used to solve them Clearly and accurately, document any issue or faults and communicate them to key parties Manage escalation process till resolution including coordination with inhouse engineers and 3rd parties Your Competencies Highly responsible independent, diligent, proactive, and organized Service oriented and customer focused Good written and verbal communication skills and problemsolving capabilities Ability to execute several complicated tasks simultaneously Ability to operate under pressure and in a stressful environment Team player Your Profile 2 years of experience in satellite communications and customer service or equivalent technical training required 2year degree or equivalent combination of experienceeducation in RF, Satellite, Video, Audio, andor Electronics preferred Proficiency in English required other languages is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to operate RF spectrum analyzer required Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays required Sports knowledgeinterest preferred Whats in it for you?
