Technical Configuration Controller Deadline for submission to Client ASAP Job Description We are looking for a Technical Configuration Controller on behalf of our client for their location in Ditzingen, Germany. The Configuration Controller is supporting the Galileo Technical Configuration Control Team for capturing, controlling and releasing configuration information for our test platforms and system instances covering hardware, software, firmware and documentation. The Configuration Controller ensures that the configuration data and documents are consistent and valid. Heshe is passionate about maintaining and controlling data accurately in order to provide a precise controlled environment, and happy to work in a supporting function role. The successful applicant will be employed by ATG Europe and not by our Client. The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to Tasks and Responsibilities Perform the incoming inspection of all HW, SW, documentation and goods and taking them under configuration control Preparation of shipment information and triggering of the shipment Configuration database management in coordination with remote configuration team Perform configuration inspections on the test platform in factory Ditzingen Support and provide necessary input on request Maintain Software and Hardware Repositories and the As Built Configuration baseline of the factory Support to the delivery manager for documentation deliveries to customer, through preparing delivery kickoff, managing the delivery content through to finalization with the documentation responsible and final data pack issue to customer. Requirements University degree Master from a recognised Institution of secondary studies or equivalent qualification with substantial coverage of configuration, IT and documentation management matters TechnicalIT knowledge required to understand and interpret the incoming deliveries software, hardware and technical documentation and extract relevant information Good analytical and problem solving skills Proficient with MS Office tools especially Excel Proven ability to work in a selfstanding manner, proactive to interpret the tasks need to be carried out without instruction and take ownership of the configuration control task for the project Accuracy and attention to detail is essential for this position The candidate must be a quick learner, a teamplayer, reliable and schedule conscious too contribute to the smooth running of the project test environment Fluent in English language spoken and written essential Due to the special project constraints set by the customer, the candidate must hold a validcitizenship of a European Union country. Configuration Management Controller

This is a permanent position, calling for experience of configuration management and control. You will be placed on assignment based near Frankfurt in Germany for several years. Candidates should ideally be available to start in October. Our client is responsible for establishing and operating major environment monitoring satellite programmes and the associated data telemetry and dissemination operations. The demanding realtime environment places much emphasis on adherence to quality and configuration management standards and procedures. This role embraces the creation, modification, deletion and version tracking of Software items Hardware items Documentation Also support is to be provided to configuration control, status accounting and auditing processes. The role also carries responsibility for the maintenance of the CM tool which is deployed. In addition to having a University degree or equivalent, candidates must have a minimum of five years experience in Configuration management Software development using Java or C Build, deployment and installation processes on large softwareintensive, high availability systems supporting realtime or nearrealtime applications. Other practical experience required is Source code control tools CVS, SubVersion, Software development environments on UNIX Database programming Oracle or Sybase and SQL Scripting languages such as Shell, Python, Perl or Javascript and more generally, software development processes Practical experience with Configuration Management standards such as CMMI, ISO or the ECSS Space systems standards would be an asset.
