Nylon/Polyamide and Caprolactam Market Prices in China (Monthly Report)
2018-09-04 20:22:17| EmergingTextiles.com
Nylon 6 prices have begun bottoming out in China, over a seasonal rebound of demand and higher material costs. Availability of benzene and caprolactam is relatively tight in Asia currently. Additional 25% tariffs at US borders targeting a large number of nylon chain products as of September could however limit the rise of prices. Our monthly report covers the latest and long-term trends of nylon 6 (polyamide 6) prices, also displaying a vertical view of the nylon chain prices, including benzene, caprolactam, staple fibers and filament yarns. The nylon/CPL spread is also calculated for assessing gross margin trends of filament producers. Daily prices of the past 12 months are available for download.
