India Yarn Prices: Domestic and Export Markets (Weekly Report)
2018-06-06 14:20:58| EmergingTextiles.com
Cotton fiber prices have further soared in the past week in India, resulting in potentially lower margins for spinners. Market trends could however be reversed after cotton futures have begun plunging in the past days in China and in New York, whereas demand for Indian fiber and yarns could be curbed by a stronger rupee. Our review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester and 100% viscose. Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices offering latest trends of spinners' margins. Market fundamentals are available on a monthly basis, including production and exports.
