Cotton prices have begun declining in the last days in New York, being however supported by a surge of Indian prices on the domestic market and a consecutive fall of Indian cotton exports. Successful sales from state reserves in China are also expected supporting cotton prices over the lon-term. Our weekly cotton report covers the international futures market in New York and the physical indicator "A Index". PTA and MEG prices haves slightly risen in the first days of last week in China, ahead of the Dragon Boat holidays. With crude oil prices now retreating however, the rebound of intermediate prices could remain very limited.
