Integration of TSP based system execution environment. Supporting integration of Multicore based system execution environment. Support dedicated projects SVF infrastructure development including processor simulator. Specific Competence Requirements A university degree or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering, Space Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline. In particular experience with Software engineering and objectoriented programming. Programming languages CC andor others. Embedded Real Time Systems and Real Time Kernels. Unix based systems. Microprocessors such as SPARC LEON, ARM, multicores etc. Communication protocols Mil1553, SpaceWire, CAN. Software Engineering Standards such as the ECSSEST40C. Knowledge of Space Systems and Space System Engineering will be an asset. The contractor shall be able to function as part of a team. Because of the operational nature of the support, a proactive and flexible attitude will be required. Experience with operational software development will be an advantage.

The main objective of the group is to identify, prototype and validate new solutions and applications based on suitable advanced technologies and supporting the use of these solutions in future ESA missions. This role is an exciting position for someone who has a deep interest in software technologies and researching new and innovative ideas in the fields of data mining and artificial intelligence. The positions main responsibilities include first line user support and maintaining the existing software systems and servers in collaboration with the Solenix engineering team.
