Are you a QA engineer ready to rock the space industry? We are looking for QA engineers that will work in a team managed by Telespazio VEGA to provide onsite QA services to EUMETSAT to support them with the maintenance and operations of the the satellite ground segments of the operational missions. This will give you exposure to all EUMETSAT missions. You will provide expert Quality Assurance consultancy services within a service team managed by Telespazio VEGA at our client site EUMETSAT. Within the framework of the operational mission Meteosat Second Generation MSG, Eumetsat Polar System EPS and Sentinel3 you will give QA support to the development and maintenance teams working on the satellite ground systems. Your involvement will be in the areas of Process Quality Assurance, Project Quality Assurance and Software Quality Assurance. As this will be a mixed team of experts, we are looking for different backgrounds with experience in the previous domains. Responsibilities Duties Process QA through definition, collection and analysis of process indicatory, metrics and dashboards. Definition and performance QA of internal processes through internal audits and definition and documentation of the internal processes. Process improvement analysis and follow up of actions. Establishment and follow up of the department Anomaly Management process and attendance to ARB meetings. Provision of QA training to the wider team. Contribute to the preparation and execution of project reviews such as System Requirements Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Reviews and TRRTRBs. Preparation and execution of Risk Review meetings, maintaining risk registers and the followup of mitigation actions. Quality Control during the project execution phase and according to agreed baselines. Software Product Assurance support through configuration and use of the SW QA tools including analysis of the results. Capturing, processing and analysing software related data in order to generate useful metrics and indicators. Preparation and execution of software related Delivery Review Boards and Incoming Inspections. Qualifications Experience University degree in a relevant field. Good knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard and solid experience working in an ISO 9001certified environment. Sound knowledge of ECSS standards. Experience in coding standards with special focus on C7C, Java and FORTRAN Handson experience in QA processes definition, implementation and monitoring and control. Experience in software development projects. Essential Skills University degree in a relevant field. Good knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard and solid experience working in an ISO 9001certified environment. Sound knowledge of ECSS standards. Experience in coding standards with special focus on C7C, Java and FORTRAN Handson experience in QA processes definition, implementation and monitoring and control. Experience in software development projects. Desirable Skills Prior experience working in the space industry. Familiarity with the EUMETSAT programmes.
