Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Support the definition and implementation of PA, QA, RAMS activities based on the tailoring of the applicable requirements and the related European Cooperation on Space Standardisation ECSS standards. Support inhouse and supplier audits related to PA QA RAMS activities. Support the implementation of personnel training and certification related to PA QA RAMS Contribute to the definition of metrology and calibration requirements. Contribute towards the definition and followup of Dependability analysis Reliability analysis Failure modes, effects and criticality analysis Fault tree analysis Common mode and common cause analysis Maintainability analysis Availability analysis Safety analysis Assist the definition of safety technical requirements and the followup of safety critical items. One of our space clients based in Germany is looking for a PAQA Engineer. This is a permanent role. Tasks Achievement of quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to plans and reviews e.g. PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR Preparation and Completion of action plans PAplanning implementing in production, productivity, quality, Identification and Solution of problems determining system improvements Implementation of changes. Development of quality assurance plans by conducting analyses Identification of critical control points and preventive measures establishing critical limits, monitoring of procedures, corrective actions and verification procedures. Validation of quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes documenting evidence writing and updating quality assurance procedures. Maintenance and improvement of product quality by completing product and surveillance audits investigating customer complaints collaborating with members of project management to developimprove product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods. Preparation of quality documentation and reports by collecting, analysing and summarising information and trends including failed processes. Update job knowledge by studying trends in quality management. Participation in educational opportunities. Qualifications and Skills Finished study of a technical field. Experiences in the area of product and quality assurance ideally in Space business. Sure linguistic proficiency English in word and writing and ideally knowledge in German language. Team ability, flexibility. Knowledge in optics manufacturing would be an advantage. Distinctive knowledge in MS office.

Quality Assurance Manager for Earth Observation Data Acquisition and Processing Ground Segment

Telespazio VEGA Deutschland is looking for a Quality Manager to lead and coordinate the quality assurance activities for a multinational consortium tasked with the development and provision of a multimillion Payload Data Acquisition and Processing Segment for a European Earth Observation programme. The project will start in early 2017. The project covers the provision of Ground Stations, the Network Infrastructure, the Payload Data Processing and the preparation and integration at different sites across Europe. The project spans from the preliminary design to the onsite verification and handover to the customer. The Quality Manager requires experience in ECSS Standards as applicable to satellite data processing ground segments. The Quality manager will be supported by the Telespazio VEGA Deutschland Quality Organisation. Submission deadline will be June 6th 2016. RESPONSIBILITIES DUTIES Monitoring and reporting on QAPA activities of the entire consortium including the lower tier suppliers Participation in formal reviews Chairing NonConformance Review Boards Handling of nonconformances Validation and Integration Test Approval and Witnessing Document Reviews Planning and Performance of Audits for the consortium including lower tier suppliers Critical Items Management Alert Management. QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE General quality management or product assurance experience in large projects with multiple, multicultural subcontractorspartners located at different sites. An engineering degree or equivalent Trained QA auditor Knowledge of QAPA supporting tools.
