This position, based near Frankfurt in Germany, is for a Software Engineer to support a Satellite Mission Planning Facility. The work involves maintenance and development activities Our client is responsible for establishing and operating weather forecasting and Earth observation satellite programmes with associated data telemetry and dissemination operations. The consultant will join the clients Mission Control Applications Team and shall have at least 5 years experience with the following Software development and maintenance using a formal life cycle resulting in deliveries to customers AIV related activities test procedure generation, nonregression testing, requirements verification and validation Designing and developing software using Object Oriented approach Use of software CASE design tools Designing and developing software applications using Java under Unix Designing and developing software applications using C under Unix 3 years min Designing and developing software applications using Eclipse as HMI framework Developing software applications using interfaces to RDBMS and experience with RDBMS engineering Knowledge of MS Office applications and experience with document management systems Configuration Management and anomaly reporting and tracking tools Satellite systems experience is desirable Candidates should possess a University degree or equivalent. Fluency in English is essential. This is a freelance contract assignment with an initial period of 2 years starting in September 2013 with two options to extend for a further period of one year each. Vous participerez la prparation du rseau de stations pour les oprations, et participerez ce titre aux oprations de mises poste LEOP de diffrentes missions satellites durant la priode de la prestation Galilo par exemple. De formation ingnieur en informatique ou quivalent universitaire Bac 5, vous avez une exprience sur des postes similaires et disposez des comptences techniques et expriences suivantes Connaissance des essais oprations dans le domaine spatial Connaissance gnrale des segments spatiaux Exprience des oprations Connaissances des stations sol satellite, Connaissance des rseaux de transmission de donnes spatiales.
