Position Reference 034 RHEA Group is recruiting a Service Manager for the RHEA Professional Engineering Services PES Business in the Netherlands. The position is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of services to our key client in the Netherlands, the European Space Agency ESA and specifically ESTEC. RHEA Group is growing rapidly and this position is key to ensuring that the company maintains good relations with its clients and continues to deliver as it commits to. The Service Manager will be part of the extended European PES Management team and will participate in the growth strategy of the business. This position is based in the RHEA Group office in Noordwijk and will report to the RHEA Group Business Manager for The Netherlands. Tasks and Activities The scope of work would include all RHEA Group employees and SubContractors who are working under the ESTEC Frame Contract. These are located in ESTEC NL, ESA HQParis and ECSAT Harwell, UK. The activities of the position, include Responsible for ensuring and monitoring the quality of the service provided for the ESTEC Frame Contract. Liaising between the client, the employees, Subcontractors and RHEA Group Support functions in the RHEA Group Belgian HQ. Coordinates the introduction of new employees ensuring the compliance and communication of all the contractual requirements. Manages the Financial Control of the contracts in comparison to the contract LOL and mission costs. Regularly meets with employees in the different locations to ensure the technical delivery is successful, and to ensure the service is performing. Builds strong relationships of trust with the client, understanding the technical and organisational challenges they face. Responsible for ensuring the deliverables of the contract are achieved on time. Compiling and quality assuring the monthly and quarterly reporting for the contracts. Completing all required financial reporting Monitoring the client KPIs. Participates in the performance management programme assisting in the annual performance review process Provides proposal preparation support in response to Restricted Tenders for Services on the ESTEC frame Champions the Health and Safety Programme and RHEA Groups Quality Management System at all locations where ESTEC frame employees are based. Provides support to plan and implement RHEA Group Marketing and Communications events in The Netherlands, Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory University level qualification in a technical or business discipline Must have experience in a technical services provider. Knowledge of ESA would be an advantage. Good organisational skills and planning Builds relationships easily. Diplomatic in your approach to problem solving Strong Business Acumen Excellent skills in MS EXCEL and numerical reasoning Good data analytical skills Competence in technical learning Excellent written and spoken English Excels within a multicultural environment and works well with remote teams Ability to travel when needed How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
