Ebola outbreak: Death toll nears 7,000 says World Health Organisation, after Liberia figures revised Agence France-Presse, by Staff Ebola has claimed nearly 7,000 lives in West Africa, the World Health Organisation says, adding about 1,200 more deaths to an earlier toll.
