Unless there is a bigger macroeconomic issue taking place in the country then I believe Union Pacific shouldn't have a problem like the other railroads mentioned. Union Pacific lost to Home Depot in my Portfolio of Thirty Super Bowl back in January and since the loss the stock has been in freefall, moving down 10.85% versus the 0.05% drop in the S&P 500.

Crews from Union Pacific Railroad began arriving Wednesday night to assess the damage caused from a 48-car derailment approximately 22 miles north of Fallon. The 51-car train pulled by three engines was heading north when the derailment occurred Wednesday afternoon.

The leader of the United Auto Workers union has rejected a third tier of lower wages for members who make auto parts. Speaking Wednesday at the union's national bargaining convention in Detroit, President Dennis Williams said the UAW already has too many tiers of lower wages.
