For space borne electronics development and ground station equipment design, LuxSpace is recruiting an experienced 10y AOCS Engineer for immediate employment. Job Profile An experienced AOCS Engineer is required to participate in the design of micro satellites in LEO and GEO up to commercial satellite projects within an international consortium. Tasks to be Performed Specification of AOCS equipment like sunsensors, gyros, star trackers, GPS and actuators Derivation of algorithms for spacecraft attitude determination and control The successful candidate will lead the AOCS team and will work tightly with mechanical propulsion engineers and interface with system engineer and architect Shehe will have to specify, design, and manage the full stages of specification to implementation and tests Required Skills, Experience and Candidate Profile University degree MasterDiplomaPhD or equivalent Experience in AOCS engineering 10y, gained in a professional position, preferably in the aerospace industry Experience in analysis based on MatlabSimulink Basic knowledge in CC language Open minded polytechnical approach and highly innovative Handson experience Comfortable dealing with customers and suppliers Ability to work and interface with a multinational team Methodical workapproach Taking responsibility and being proactive Willingness to travel and to be part of a collocated team for a limited time Good communication capabilities, analytical sense and priority setting abilities Languages Good English language skills spoken and written, German andor French knowledge will be considered an asset Driving license desirable class B EU citizenship or valid Luxembourg work permit mandatory for nationals from nonEUcountries or countries treated as such.
