Job description For our customer, the European Space Agency ESA, we are seeking an experienced Documentalist Configuration Management Assistant to work at ESAs ESTEC site in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Responsibilities You will be assigned as Assistant Configuration Officer to support ESAs MPCVESM project ESAs contribution to NASAs next generation Orion crewed space capsule within the Directorate of Human and Robotic Exploration. This position will cover configuration control of both ESA internal activities and activities performed by Industrial Contractors. It includes the following typical duties towards Industries Control of the implementation of the Customer CM requirements by reviewing Contractors CM Plans and relevant Documents. Control of the Technical and Design Baseline by reviewing related documentation e.g. CIDL. Control of the Baselines Evolution change implementation process. Control and review of the Asbuilt certification ABCDLs. Participation to the Incremental Review in subcontractor sites in order to verify the AsDesign and AsBuilt documentation in correlation with the HW integration testing and Acceptance. Participating in Project Reviews PSR, FAR, QR and Production reviews IRR, TRR, PTR, DRB. It includes the following typical duties in the ESA team Provide administrative support to the ECB Engineering Change Board JECB organise the review of specific Engineering PA Documentation like NCRs, RFDRFWs, ECPs, CRs, OCRs, etc.. and manage the interface exchanges with Industries and NASA. Maintain the ESM Requirement Baseline EMDL under control for all ESM Models Provide administrative support to the CCB Contractual Change Board and manage the interface exchanges with Industries and NASA. This is a fulltime position located at ESTEC, Noordwijk, The Netherlands. The requested start of work is September 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter. Qualifications Competencies The successful candidate shall have A Bachelor level degree in Business Administration or similar. At least 4 years of relevant working experience in controlling andor management of activities and resources in aerospace industry. Highly proficient in the use of modern activities and resource management support toolsdatabases of standard office automation support software packages including in particular advance usage of Excel. Ability to rapidly understand and adapt to ESA specific context and environment including ESA corporate IT applications. Past experience with ESA in relevant activities is an asset. Proven experience in Configuration Management in Space Companies Organizations are an asset. Adequate knowledge and understanding of the applicable ESA Configuration Management requirements and standards such as MSESARQ100, MSESARQ108, ECSSMST40 are an asset Good knowledge of the specific activities andor organisation, of the applicable configuration management working procedures and support tools are an asset. Previous experiences in fields like Product Assurance, System Engineering and Production Control are an asset. Soft Skills Highly organised, with attention to details, and be able to efficiently work under pressure and stringent schedule Shall demonstrate excellent communication skills, have distinctive customer focus and be a strong team player Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken, knowledge of another official ESA language is an asset What can Terma Offer?
