000 ABNT20 KNHC 051142 TWOAT TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 700 AM EST WED NOV 5 2014 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: A large area of disturbed weather extending northward from the northeastern Caribbean Sea into the Atlantic Ocean for several hundred miles is associated with a weak surface trough and an upper-level low. A surface low pressure system could form in this area later today or tomorrow, and it could briefly acquire subtropical characteristics while moving northwestward. After that time, development is not expected while the disturbance moves north-northeastward and merges with a frontal zone. Regardless of formation, locally heavy rainfall and possible flooding should continue across portions of the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic through tonight.
