000 ABNT20 KNHC 012335 TWOAT TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 800 PM EDT TUE SEP 1 2015 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Fred, located northwest of the northwestern Cape Verde Islands. A weak surface trough, the remnants of Erika, is producing an area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms over the northeastern Gulf of Mexico. Surface pressures in the area are high, and upper-level winds are currently not conducive for redevelopment.
