000 ABNT20 KNHC 022349 TWOAT TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 800 PM EDT FRI OCT 2 2015 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Joaquin, located near the central Bahamas. A non-tropical area of low pressure over the central Atlantic about 850 miles east-southeast of Bermuda is producing gale-force winds, but the associated shower and thunderstorm activity is displaced well to the east of the center. Environmental conditions are forecast to be conducive for the low to acquire more tropical characteristics for another day or so before development is hindered by strong upper-level winds associated with Hurricane Joaquin.
