000 ABNT20 KNHC 081746 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL Issued by the NWS Weather Prediction Center College Park MD 200 PM EDT Tue Aug 8 2017 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Franklin, located inland over the Yucatan peninsula. Disorganized showers and thunderstorms continue in association with a trough of low pressure located about 700 miles east of the Lesser Antilles. Development of this system is not expected during the next few days due to unfavorable environmental conditions.
