000 ABNT20 KNHC 082324 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 800 PM EDT Mon Oct 8 2018 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Hurricane Michael, located over the southern Gulf of Mexico, and on Tropical Storm Leslie, located over the central Atlantic Ocean. Satellite images indicate that a low pressure area located several hundred miles southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands is becoming better defined. Environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for further development, and a tropical depression is likely to form within a day or two while the system moves generally west- northwestward.
