To reinforce our team at our office in Darmstadt, we are looking for a candidate to fill the post of the BepiColombo Operations Engineering Services mf Ref R0901425 Your task The candidate will provide Spacecraft Operations Engineering Service for solar and planetary missions operated by ESOC with initial assignment to the BepiColombo mission. The main areas of responsibility for this position are o power, thermal and TTC subsystems, o preparation, validation and maintenance of the BepiColombo mission planning rules and constraints. The candidate may be requested to assume the responsibility and perform activities for additional subsystems or systems within the scope of general SOE services. Your profile University degree or equivalent education in Electric or Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering Essential Previous experience in spacecraft powerthermal subsystem operations Understanding of interplanetary mission operations Understanding of Flight Control Team tasks and responsibilities pre and postlaunch Fluency in English, both in speech and writing Ability to coordinate and interact with other service providers in operations and other fields Ability to work independently with little or no supervision Eagerness to acquire and maintain knowledge as necessary to achieve agreed working objectives and improve work processes Desirable Strong educational background in engineering or science Previous experience in spacecraft TTC subsystem operations Handson experience with ground systems and facilities required to support spacecraft operation Familiarity with the ESOC environment Operational experience with interplanetary missions Previous experience with mission planning processes and tools The ability to work efficiently on multiple activities, multiple subsystems and if applicable multiple missions simultaneously We offer Demanding and interesting projects in an international environment Integration to a team of highly motivated professionals High degree of flexibility and possibilities to develop your career Are you interested in the position offered?
