The economic picture is not improving in China, with retail sales growing at a lower pace and a sharp fall of clothing exports, as reflected by just released May data. Production prices continued therefore falling in the textile industry, whereas less significantly rising in the clothing sector. This statistical report offers a comprehensive view of production costs and consumer prices in China, including in textile and clothing sectors. Labor costs in major provinces are also being followed.
