The Position We are looking for software engineers to migrate into the cloud an Air Traffic Control ATC project being deployed by our customer, the Deutsche Flugsicherung DFS. This project is an airspace monitoring system which has already been deployed at several client sites. In addition to migrating existing functionality, new cloud mechanisms will need to be developed. You will participate, contribute, think and be creative! QualificationsExperience A university degree in aerospace, informatics, mathematics or physics Sound experience of clouddeployed applications Mandatory skills Kafka is an absolute must Protobuf interchange format knowledge is needed for this role You should also bring Prometheus skills with you, this toolkit is used for monitoring and alerts The version control systems git is being employed Project makes use of the ticketing systems Jira and Trac Good command of the English and German languages Desirable skills The successful applicants would ideally offer Jenkins and Nexus Experience of designing software that is highly configurable would be great, as these systems are rolled out for various different clientssites You should be able to take responsibility for your work and be selfreliant.
