Serco and Proud Make a difference every day. We are proactively looking for a Communication Systems Technologies Engineer, based in ESTEC, Noordwijk Netherlands. Main Responsibilities The below range of support tasks are required Assistance in preparation of invitation to tenders related to ESA RD. Activities and contracts technical followup. Specific engineering support to space projects developed by ESA andor by major European industriesoperators Validation of designs by means of analyses, simulations, laboratory testing and field trials possibly in cooperation with third parties. Design, implementation and testing tasks for technological projects. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate must bring Master Degree in Telecommunication Engineering with particular emphasis on digital communication system and subsystem techniques, highspeed processing techniques for communication via satellites Knowledge of satellite communication architectures and techniques. Experience in analysis and design of modern digital communication systems, coding and synchronization issues. Familiarity with modern communication system and subsystem simulation techniques, as a minimum Matlab and CC program languages. Knowledge of modern prototyping and testing methodologies for digital communication subsystems is also preferred.
