Aurora has the opportunity to expand our support to ESA in the domain of PLT RF Systems Payload and Technologies. Specific Tasks Under the supervision of the ESA Security Office, provide support to the Agency projects and programs in the area of security, including System security analysis and design, System security requirements definition and implementation, Security technology, Project Risk analysis, Vulnerability and threat assessment, Accreditation and certification aspects. The person will act as Galileo Second Generation System Accreditation Engineer. In particular, providing support to GALILEO 2nd Generation G2G in The fast adoption of the G2G security monitoring system in Operations. The implementation of the G2G Cyber Security activities. The definition of G2G System Penetration Tests and Security Audits. The preparation of the G2G core infrastructure accreditation. The preparation of the documentation required by the Security Accreditation Board SAB to support the accreditation process. Contributing to System and Segments cyber security, security risk analysis, accreditation strategy and other security related topics. The definition, analyses and consolidation of System and Segment security and accreditation requirements. The implementation of overall security engineering for the G2G System and G2G Segments, including security requirements flowdown, implementation followup, security operations engineering and maintenance of the Galileo Evolutions Mission Security Baseline. The definition of the G2 System and Segments certification activities, in support to the overall qualification of the security requirements at System level. Defining the G2G system architecture and operations concept. The Agencys interaction with Working Group of National Experts Team, the WGTEC, WG SPECIAL PRS, the Security Accreditation Panel GSAP. The definition and consolidation of the Security Monitoring specifications and the procurement of the associated ground and space segment infrastructure. The system design reviews PDR and CDR as well as the qualification phase reviews QR on accreditation aspects. The implementation of the G2G IOC and FOC Services, including the completion of the associated system infrastructure and service milestones as well as the corresponding service validation activities. Generating lessons learned and contributing to the Knowledge Management initiatives in the Directorate of Navigation. RD activities within the Galileo 2nd Generation Project, EGEP, H2020 Horizon Europe Programmes. Specific Qualification Requirements A Master or PhD degree or equivalent in Telecommunications Engineering or similar with a strong knowledge of Security and GNSS systems. Knowledge of Space system and ground systems architecture. Knowledge and Experience in System Engineering. Knowledge and Experience in Security engineering. Knowledge and Experience in Satellite navigation system and related security architectures. Knowledge and Experience in managing industrial contracts. Knowledge and experience in the design and development of large distributed security systems. Knowledge of the ISO27000 standard. Knowledge of accreditation, certification and audit processes. Knowledge and Experience on Agile methodologies and DEVOPS is considered an asset. Candidates must be eligible for security clearance from their national security administration. Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team within the boundaries of assigned tasks and a stringent schedule. Proficiency in English language spoken and written is essential. Legal and Security Requirements All applicants must be legally allowed to work in The Netherlands Applicants are required to provide a copy of their passport and degree certificate. Aurora will validate the Degree with the issuing University and provide evidence to ESA. Prior to issuing a letter of employment the applicant shall provide to Aurora a recent official document declaring that they are of good conduct from the country where currently resident. Location The work will be performed at the European Space Technology and Research Centre ESTEC at Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Contract The selected candidate will receive good remuneration. Will be registered for both social security and tax in the Netherlands. The standard working hours are 40 per week. There are 12 public holidays and an additional 30 annual days holiday. Training to improve efficiency and provide strength for future career are of course included. Aurora assist with relocation both with support and financially.
