More specifically, sound knowledge and practical experience in Modelling, designing, implementing and validating complex change and configuration management processes applied to large softwareintensive 247 operational systems, ideally in the aerospace sector minimum 5 years Administrating the Dimensions CM tool from Micro Focus company installation from scratch of full releases patch upgrades design, implementation and verification of complex process models liaison with operating system and database administrators deployment and endtoend system monitoring provision of training sessions and user support minimum 5 years Designing, developing and unit testing software applications with the objectoriented programming language VB.NET, applying advanced concepts and best practices. Minimum 5 years Software development environments such as Visual Studio minimum 3 years SQL programming on Oracle or Sybase databases minimum 2 year Database administration basic principles minimum 1 year NICETOHAVE SKILLS Practical experience with Source code control tools such as CVS or Subversion Requirement Management tools such as DOORS System administration preferably on UNIXLinux The Microsoft Windows operation system as advanced user Configuration Management standards such as CMMI, ISO or ESA ECSS will be considered as assets. Demonstrated very good communication and team working skills Be able to conduct all activities in an orderly and disciplined manner, in particular when supporting our client in Change and Configuration management processes and working practices Demonstrated very good skills in timely documenting all his artefacts Be able to work calmly under stress without supervision TASKS Maintenance corrective, preventive and further development of existing and new CM tool instances managing Changes and Configuration Items related to Programmes and Projects being developed by Client, and to Clients Operational systems feasibility studies, user software requirements, development, documentation, unit and verification testing, deployment on test and operational environments Creation, modification, update and version tracking of following Configuration Items Documentation management and technical documents, including SpacecraftGround Segment operational procedures, manuals and guides HW items computers, infrastructure, Comms equipments SW items including SW applications, COTS and associated Licences, ... keeping up to date the mapping between SW and HW items. Review and proposal of improvements to existing applicable Clients Configuration Management processes and working practices Planning and preparation of abovementioned new CM tool instances releases Monitoring and tuning of the tools performance, and impact assessment on existing clients CM implementation On a case by case basis, second level support to CM stakeholders support team, user representatives...
