RHEA is currently recruiting a Configuration Management Officer to support our client at its premises in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Tasks and Activities Your primary tasks and activities may include Reviewing engineering documentation and ensuring consistency at configuration level between our client and Industry Participating in Project Reviews by reviewing system engineering and configuration data, and coordinating the process for generation of discrepancies RIDs, final disposition by originators, closure and status tracking Conducting engineering and documentation configuration audits and supporting hardware configuration inspections, the latter in coordination with the product assurance function Acting as secretary to Divisional Engineering and Verification Boards for Processing of changes, deviations and waivers Coordinating the review of projects requirements closure, the verification control documents in coordination with the related interfaces with Industryies. Providing project action item lists and closure status Providing supervision and maintenance of the documentation library and archives within existing databases Coordinating with the appropriate engineering teams for updating the content of the configured baseline Supporting Divisional ISO 9001 activities Skills and Experience You must possess the following skills and experience Master degree in Engineering Minimum 4 years of demonstrated experience in Configuration Management for leading Space Companies andor organisations Sound knowledge of configuration modification control systems and processes Experience in space system engineering and engineering processes control Strong knowledge of knowledge of the Human Space Flight operational programmes An indepth knowledge of the Industry and related configuration management working procedures and tools, notably ECLIPSE and its predecessor, DMS, RID system for project reviews DOORS for requirements verification Fluency in English A high level of computer and database skills.
