RHEA is currently recruiting a Configuration Management Officer to support our clients premises in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. Tasks and Activities Your primary tasks and activities may include Reviewing engineering documentation and ensuring consistency at configuration level between ESA and Industry Participating in Project Reviews by reviewing configuration data, and supporting process for generation of discrepancies RIDs, final disposition by originators, closure and status tracking Conducting documentation configuration audits and supporting hardware configuration inspections as needed, the latter in coordination with the product assurance function Act as secretary to Divisional Engineering and Verification Boards for Processing of changes, deviations and waivers Coordinating the review of projects requirements closure, the verification control documents in coordination with the related interfaces with Industryies. Providing project action item lists and closure status Providing supervision and maintenance of the documentation library and archives within existing databases Coordinating appropriate engineering teams for updating the content of the configured baseline Supporting Divisional ISO 9001 activities, prepare for audits Improving configuration management process in the division and its projects Skills and Experience You must possess the following skills and experience University degree or equivalent qualification in an appropriate discipline master degree in technical matters is preferable A sound and proven experience in Configuration Management in Space Companiesorganisations and ESA at least 4 years A sound knowledge of configuration modification control systems and processes Experience in space system engineering and engineering processes control and capability to support projects review with engineering evaluation is highly preferable A good knowledge of the HSO directorates programmes An indepth knowledge of the Industry and ESA configuration management related working procedures and tools, like ECLPSE and its predecessor, DMS, the RID system for project reviews and DOORS for requirements verification A high level of computer and database skills A good knowledge of the English language How to Apply Looking to take your career to the next level?
