Configuration Manager Our client a large system house and major player in the space industry offers a challenging opportunity for a configuration management professional Tasks Development and implementation of processes for controlling the configuration of single and smallseries products Create and maintain the Product Tree Create and maintain Configuration Management Plans and specifications Create Configuration Status Reports, CIDLs and ABCLs Planning and execution of a regular Configuration Control Boards CCBs Planning and execution of tasks in the areas of Configuration Identification, Configuration, Status Accounting, Change Control and Configuration Audits Knowledge of methods and procedures relating to Configuration and Documentation Management for the entire product life cycle Experience in the configuration monitoring of subcontractors and suppliers Qualifications University degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, business administration or quality assurance and a solid working background in the disciplines related to the tasks described You are communicative and able to make decisions and judgments in a dynamic project team Sound knowledge of quality management and industryspecific standards and regulations, ECSS, ISO, AQAP, MIL Good planning and organization skills, ability to synthesize complex information and capability to work effectively in a team environment English business fluent, working knowledge of German Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Project Profound knowledge for everyday use of a DCM data base system is an asset
