Controller, Spacecraft Operations Ref SES0327 Region Europe Location Luxembourg Betzdorf Company SES Category Space Operations Position Staff Context SES is looking for a talented technicianengineer to control the expanded fleet. Responsibilities Being part of a team which safeguards the health of the SES satellites on a 247 basis Monitoring and analysis of satellite telemetry data Command of satellites for all required operations Station keeping manoeuvers and guidance of satellites through the seasonal eclipse periods Providing support to and cooperate with other teams for the day to day operations of the satellites Providing required reports on a daily and weekly basis You will receive intensive training and be certified to work as a Satellite Controller. Experience Qualifications Technicalengineering degree in electronics, aeronautics or equivalent qualifications Previous working experience in this field would be an asset Software skills are considered as an advantage Fluency in spoken and written English language any other language being an asset Good analytical skills Flexibility, reliability and readiness to work without direct supervision Errorfree performance in high stress situations Excellent selfmotivational qualities, good communication skills and being a teamplayer Willingness to work on shift Valid work permit is considered as an advantage.
