We are currently looking for a Copernicus Mission Control Systems Operations Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Copernicus Mission Control Systems Operations Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As Copernicus Mission Control Systems Operations Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities Contribute to the design, development, documentation and maintenance of tools that support the monitoring and operations of the mission control system Perform mission control system operations, including Scheduling and coordination of daily operations Monitor the status and performance of the mission control system and the interfaces to other facilities Perform anomaly investigations Provision of support to critical andor special operations Design, development, documentation and maintenance of mission control and ground segment operations procedures identified from operational needs Contribute to the design, development, documentation and maintenance of specific toolscripts identified from operational needs Contribute to coordination and implementation of modifications to the mission control system, including their documentation, approval, implementation, testing and training Provide oncall support, on an as needed basis Review planned changes to the system configurations for the ground segment to assess potential operational impacts with respect to the mission control system. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in engineering or another relevant discipline Operation of spacecraft control systems using SCOS2000 Profound knowledge of developing andor maintaining spacecraft mission control systems software Definition and implementation of the VV activities of spacecraft mission control systems Several years of experiences with UNIXLinux operating systems Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
