Cotton Prices on International and Domestic Markets (Weekly Report)

Cotton futures have last Friday surged in New York to levels which had not been seen for years, over weather worries in Texas. Demand remains very strong for US cotton but also for Indian origins which are now cheaper on the international market, thanks to the current weakness of the rupee. Cotton prices are staying very firm on domestic markets in China, India and Pakistan. Our weekly cotton report covers the international futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India and Pakistan are also reviewed through a large number of tables and charts. All data are available for download.
