Cotton Prices on International and Domestic Markets (Weekly Report)

Although New York's nearby contract has further surged in the last week, there are signs that limits may have been reached. Cotton futures have already plummeted in China after cotton officials have made announcements for stopping any panic buying. Cotton prices have however continued surging in India, due to strong international demand for domestic fibers and yarns. Our weekly cotton report covers the international futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India and Pakistan are also reviewed through a large number of tables and charts. All data are available for download.
