Cotton prices have rebounded at the end of last week, over anticipations of a sharply lower US production in the next season than initially expected, due to persistent drought in Texas and Oklahoma. Cotton prices have surged to new highs in Pakistan whereas also further rising in India where exports have been boosted by Beijing's decision to apply 25% additional tariffs on US cotton.
