Cotton Prices on International and Domestic Markets (Weekly Report)

Cotton prices have begun retreating back to lower levels, except in Pakistan where they have momentarily surged. The looming trade war is depressing the renminbi and making it more difficult to predict how fiber and yarn markets will behave in the coming weeks and months, although prices are expected to stay at high levels, anyway. Our weekly cotton report covers the international futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India and Pakistan are also reviewed through a large number of tables and charts. All data are available for download.
