Cotton prices have continued slightly sliding on the international and domestic markets in the past week. Larger availability of cotton fibers in this part of the year is pressuring prices whereas the global economic slowdown is depressing demand, amid an overall decline of equity and commodity markets. Our weekly cotton report covers the international futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India and Pakistan are also reviewed through a large number of tables and charts. All data are available for download.
