Cotton Prices on International and Domestic Markets (Weekly Report)
2018-12-12 17:25:19| EmergingTextiles.com
Cotton prices have been very firm in the last week, reaching in New York the higher range of their long-term band above 80 cents. Such a rise is not only due to a possible agreement between China and the United States, but primarily the result of strong market fundamentals, with cotton production revised at lower levels in key harvesting countries and China's official buyers possibly returning to the international market. Our weekly cotton report covers the international futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India and Pakistan are also reviewed through a large number of tables and charts. All data are available for download.
