Cotton Prices on International and Domestic Markets (Weekly Report)

Cotton prices have stayed frozen in the last week, with the US Government shutdown and looming Chinese holidays freezing demand. Data from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) should progressively be updated in the coming period, offering a boost in the arm of the cotton market. Chinese buying is also expected rebounding after holidays, especially if a trade agreement is settled between Washington and Beijing.
