Cotton Prices on International and Domestic Markets (Weekly Report)

Cotton futures have rebounded in the past week in New York, with investors anticipating large Chinese buying after a trade agreement will have been signed between Washington and Beijing. The first USDA data covering the coming season have however reflected a rise in global ending stocks, as a clear sign that prices will not rise over the long term and whatever short-term volatility. Our weekly cotton report covers the international futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India and Pakistan are also reviewed through a large number of tables and charts. All data are available for download.
