Cotton Prices on International and Domestic Markets (Weekly Report)

Cotton prices have heavily fallen in the last week on the international market, as global cotton use was expected to be lower in the next season than previously announced. Global production has been raised by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) at the same time, resulting in larger stocks than previously anticipated. Our weekly cotton report covers the futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India, and Pakistan are also reviewed through a large number of tables and charts. All data are available for download.
