Cotton prices are currently supported by China's restocking campaign on both international and domestic markets. The looming US-China trade deal would have no impact on Chinese demand for cotton, however, whereas cotton use in China could tumble due to the fall in apparel production, negatively affecting prices. Our weekly cotton report covers the futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India, Pakistan, and Brazil are also reviewed through a large number of tables and charts. All data are available for download.
