Cotton futures have recovered at the end of last week in New York, over rumors of a partial trade deal that could be eventually agreed between China and the United States. Any announcement would boost cotton futures in the U.S. and China, although for a very short period of time only. Our weekly cotton report covers the futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India, Pakistan, and Brazil are also reviewed through a large number of tables and charts. All data are available for download.
